Welcome from Pastor John . . .

 

 

Let me be the first to say, “Welcome!”  I am so excited that you have found Morningstar United Methodist Church, and I hope that you will consider making this church your church home. As Morningstar’s pastor, I can personally attest to the fact that this congregation is filled with kind, caring and committed Christians who go out of their way to welcome those new to the church.  There are many exciting opportunities for worship, small groups, outreach, and service within the life of this community of faith, and I hope that we can help you to find your place.

 

I firmly believe that God desires a relationship with each and every one us and He longs for us to be relationship with one another.   We fulfill both of these desires as we gather together as a church in worship.  But that is only the beginning of a lifelong process of Discipleship that will bring us into closer relationship with the God who loves and seeks us.  It is my hope that as you find your place at Morningstar, you will a find a place where you are loved and comforted, challenged and transformed, and prepared and equipped to go out into the world in service to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
